Materials & Construction:
  •  4 Layers, 11″ Thick
  • Hybrid construction, combo of coils & foam

Five layers of foams and a durable coil system produce a flexible yet gentle and supportive mattress. The top three layers of performance foams work to relieve pressure, all while providing the necessary firm yet comfortable support.

The Solay’s 6-inch coil system offers support where needed: the mattress will feel more durable and solid from edge to edge, and the base foam provides sturdy yet smooth foundation as well. All this is wrapped in an ultra-breathable TENCEL cover.

Sleeping on the Solay Mattress:

We had a great experience sleeping on the Solay Hybrid. This mattress had a truer medium feel than the majority of hybrids we’ve tried.

Comfort & Support:
  •  Medium Firmness Feel
  • Great for All Sleeping Positions, Sizes & Shapes

As mentioned before, the Solay Hybrid is made of several foam layers and a coil system. This combination provides a universally comfortable mattress by using foams that are somewhere in-between the consistency of memory foam and latex.

For side sleepers who prefer cushion and support, the Solay is definitely a great choice! However, the mattress can still accommodate other sleeping positions and sleepers of different shapes and sizes. We noticed it relieved pressure points and contoured well. Though the Solay was slightly softer than the typical hybrid, it definitely provided sufficient support.

Temperature Regulation:
  •  Good Heat Dissipation & Air Flow
  • Responsive Foams Easy to Move On

Since the Solay mattress uses a coil system, there is significantly less heat retention than other foam mattresses. Not to mention, the coil system provides some flexibility when you move about the mattress, so you won’t feel as “stuck”.

Additionally, the top comfort foams on the Solay work well to create a neutral sleeping surface. The foams contain properties that allow the mattress to breathe better without compromising comfort.

Motion Transfer:
  •  Minimal Motion Transfer
  • Good for Anyone Sharing a Bed

The Solay uses a quantum coil system with individually wrapped coils. The individual wrapping allows for precise support and helps reduce vibrations. Meanwhile, the three layers of foam above the coil system also work to create minimal motion transfer. Even light sleepers will find little to no disturbance when sleeping on this mattress!

Edge Support:
  •  Fully Usable Sleeping Surface
  • Durable, Solid Perimeter with Reinforced Coils

For sleeping, the Solay Hybrid offers great edge support. The coil system contains reinforced coils around the edges that help make for a more solid foundation. You may notice a bit of sinkage when sitting on the edge, but for sleeping the edge support is uniform and consistent.

Delivery, Unboxing & Off Gassing:

  •  Free Delivery
  • Compressed and Roll Packed

The Solay Hybrid ships free and is delivered to your door compressed and roll-packed. The box is fairly heavy, so we recommend another person or two help you maneuver the mattress throughout your home.

See how easy it is to unbox the Solay Hybrid mattress in our video below!

Off Gassing:

You may notice minimal odors when unboxing the Solay Hybrid. Since it’s tightly compressed and packed, odors are more likely to form which increases off gassing when it is finally unboxed. However, once you let the mattress air out the odors should dissipate within a few hours. All in all, the Solay Hybrid had a minimal off gassing, but nothing abnormal for a boxed hybrid mattress.
